My X-Type 2.2D went through 4 EGR valves in the time I had it (0-130k miles). It was a known issue and every one was covered by Jaguar. Now, it had no DPF but when the EGR valve stuck it either wouldn't start or started to hunt if it was running. So perhaps that's the valve they replaced. These warnings come on before the car even starts moving. I've checked the front wheel speed sensors, and have cleaned them, however the warnings still pops up.
